Isolated in an unfamiliar place, young wife Susan finds herself the keeper of an unspeakable secret. The way her only neighbour looks at her is ‘the worst thing in the world’.
Based on Carys Davies short story ‘The Quiet’, this is a dance-theatre performance that will make the hairs on the back of your neck prickle and your heart pump quicker. A physical and tense tale about seeing and being seen as we truly are.
Commissioned by Writers' Centre Norwich and choregraphed by Laura McGill and Sarah Lewis.
